1998 US Embassy Bomb Victim Education Project
This project provides support to Victims affected by the 1998 US Embassy Bomb in Dar es Salaam. The project is funded by the US Government through United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Social Action Trust Fund (SATF). The project benefits the victims to access education from primary to college level.
| A total of 16 children who are the US Embassy bomb victims were supported to access education at different levels from nursery to Secondary Schools. |
Visually Impaired MVC Project
This project supports MVC with special needs particularly visual impairedness, deafness and albinism. The project was funded by Bank of Tanzania (BOT) and implemented by SATF in collaboration with Tanzania Mission to the Poor and Disabled (PADI) located in Songea, Ruvuma region in 2012/2013.
| 40 MVC who are physically challenged were supported with scholastic materials such as uniforms, shoes and socks, sweaters and school bag. In addition to that the support included braillons papers, brailler special reams, binding and cutting machine and min batteries for tape, bed sheets, blankets, mattresses and beds. |
| 2 MVC with albinism were supported with special medicine for skin protection against sun lights and eye glasses. |
| As per teachers’ report, significant number of pupils’ performance has improved compared to previous situation due to the fact that all pupils supported have now their notes, fine bound which ensure safe keeping in their school bags and long lasting, hence using them to read and increase academic performance. |
MVC Project under Global Fund to Fight HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria
SATF implemented the MVC project under Global Fund to fight HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria round 4 as a lead sub recipient of the fund coordinated by the National Coordinating Mechanism under Tanzania Commission for AIDS (TACAIDS)

Rapid Fund Envelope Project
