The Government introduced free education to enable all Tanzanians children to have access to primary education. This offer saw a large number of children being enrolled in primary education therefore outweighing the available infrastructures including classrooms and desks. This led to the Government calling on the general public to contribute towards the identified gaps. SATF being one of the key stakeholders in education sector, made desk donations in Six District Councils namely Kinondoni, Temeke, Ilala, Chato, Kakonko and Kailua total of 850 desks in year 2016 were donated to the respective Districts which will benefit 3,400 pupils in public schools.
